Slicing cucumbers are perfect for fresh eating - whether you enjoy them with your favorite dip, in a salad or sprinkled with a little salt. The choice is yours. Our cucumbers are roughly 6 inches in length. All produce is 100% homegrown on our farm. We believe in improving the soil quality through mindful crop rotation, the use of cover crops and fertilizing with composted manure. We manage all of our weeds through cultivation and fire. Our fertilization plan involves no sprays. Instead we work to manage the quality of our soil. Our goal for 2023 is to raise at least 90% of our own plants from seed to harvest. We do not have organic or natural certifications for our produce, however, you are welcome to follow us on YouTube, Facebook and Instagram to see our practices.

They farrow (give birth) in open, deep bedded pens, instead of farrowing crates. Seasonally and age appropriate housing: We have pigs in a variety of places, based on their age and the weather. This ranges from a barn where the sows farrow + the younger pigs stay, to an outside area with access to a barn where we keep the sows when they aren’t farrowing and the larger feeder pigs throughout the year! Enjoy our beautiful annual cut flowers, including sunflowers, strawflowers, zinnias, snapdragons, multiple varieties of celosia (cockscomb), cosmos, and various cuttings of perennial flowers (rudbeckia, echinacea etc) as they bloom. Every bouquet will be unique with flowers and herbs hand-chosen by the gardener's eye for every customer. Each bouquet will be cut and assembled the morning of the distribution and be wrapped in paper. The fresh flowers last 7-10 days in water to brighten up your home or the day of one of your friends :)

Art for your soap dish! Desert Gold is a large square bar soap that includes milk from our herd of Nigerian Dwarf goats. Nigerian Dwarf goats produce high amounts of milk for their size, and the milk is higher in butterfat than most other dairy goat breeds. It makes lovely soap. Desert Gold is rich with gold mica marbling. It includes essential oils of lavender, mint, rose hips and jasmine. The scent is rich. Our soaps are handmade in small batches, so please allow for variations. Allergy Warning: People with sensitive skin or skin allergies should test the soap on a small part of skin and stop using if any irritation occurs.

Our hens are “free range” chickens who lay delicious eggs. The eggshells are mostly brown in color, coming in many different shades. however, we now have several chickens that lay varying shades of green/blue. They are all fed Non GMO feed and also enjoy items from our garden (that we froze),prepared ahead of time knowing the winter months would be around the corner. Those items are pumpkin, green beans, cabbage and broccoli. We also sprout wheat berries during the winter months for them. We have left the natural bloom on the eggs so please wash your eggs before using.
