Aronia Berry Jam is made from our own berries from our orchard here in Searsboro, Iowa. Aronia berries have an earthy flavor and are very tart. The berries being tart makes this a delicious jam. The thickening agent for the jams is also from our orchard, as we use our own early, unripe apples. Aronia berries are said to have 10,000 times more antioxidants than a blueberry.

One Kentucky Mint herb plant in a 3 inch pot. All of our produce is 100% homegrown on our farm. We believe in improving the soil quality through mindful crop rotation, the use of cover crops and fertilizing with composted manure. We manage all of our weeds through cultivation and fire. Our fertilization plan involves no sprays. Instead we work to manage the quality of our soil. Our goal for 2023 is to raise at least 90% of our own plants from seed to harvest. L'Orangerie goat milk soaps include milk from our herd of Nigerian Dwarf goats. Nigerian Dwarf goats produce high amounts of milk for their small stature, and their milk is higher in butterfat than most other dairy goat breeds. Our goat milk averages between 6-9% butterfat--we have it tested monthly. It makes lovely soap! L'Orangerie goat milk soap also includes saponified oils of coconut, sunflower, rice bran, and castor as well as shea butter. They're scented with orange and lemon balm essential oils for an herb garden meets orangery experience. The bars are swirled with turmeric, and they are topped with dried orange peel and calendula petals. Bars average 4.5 oz. each. Allergy Warning: People with sensitive skin or skin allergies should test the soap on a small part of skin and stop using if any irritation occurs.
