Nigerian Dwarf goats produce high amounts of milk for their small stature, and their milk is higher in butterfat than most other dairy goat breeds. It makes lovely soap. Gold Rush is rich in gray with activated charcoal and gold mica marbling. It includes essential oils of patchouli, clove, and bergamot for a delightful scent. These large bars average 6oz. We now have 8 guineas. They average about 100 eggs a year, mostly during spring and summer months. The eggs are similar to chicken eggs, yet smaller in size. The shape of their eggs is interesting, more like a teardrop shape. The shells are very strong (which you’ll notice when cracking it open). The inside of the eggs is creamier than chIcken eggs due to a higher ratio of yolk to white in the guinea eggs. All of our guineas free range all over our 10 acres and has access to our non gmo feed. We’re fortunate to get these eggs as guinea fowl like to lay eggs outdoors and hide their eggs. Remember to wash your eggs before using, as we have left the natural bloom intact.

The length and shape of each bunch may vary. The variety of lavender is ‘Phenomenal’ which has many uses: keep as a bouquet, create your own potpourri or sachet, or use in crafts. It is also an edible lavender variety that could be used in salads, teas, or other recipes. For the best results, please store out of direct sunlight. The lemon drop pepper is a chili pepper that is 2-12 x’s hotter than a jalapeño pepper. It is bright yellow with a sweet citrusy flavor. To enhance the “lemon” flavor of the pepper, I’ve added lemon rind and lemon juice to the jam. This is such a delicious jam!!!! Working to ensure that I have enough magnesium in my system, I’ve realized I need to be a bit creative to get enough of it. So, this particular Magnesium Lotion has been brewing for a while now as a nice way to incorporate more of the essential mineral. I use this Magnesium Lotion on my hands and feet sometimes at night sometimes in the day. It won’t put you to sleep or anything, but magnesium does tend to have soothing properties. I do find that if I apply it to a small scratch on my hands for instance it will sting a little. For sensitive skin or those with allergies, please test on a small area. Goat milk is naturally high in fat, protein, vitamins, and minerals to nourish the skin. Why else would Cleopatra supposedly have bathed in it? This lotion should certainly hydrate while also giving your system some additional magnesium to absorb topically. The magnesium in the lotion is in the form of magnesium oil from the ancient Zechstein Sea. This formula has equal parts goat milk and magnesium oil as well as shea butter, grapeseed oil, and sweet almond oil. Our goat milk averages between 6-9% butterfat--we have it tested monthly. It makes lovely soap! Meadowfoam bars of goat milk soap also includes saponified oils of coconut, sunflower, rice bran, olive and castor bean as well as charcoal and meadowfoam seed oil. They're scented with bergamot and frankincense essential oils. Bars average 4 oz. each. Soaps will come wrapped in tissue paper. Our soaps are handmade in small batches. Please allow for variations. Allergy Warning: People with sensitive skin or skin allergies should test the soap on a small part of skin and stop using if any irritation occurs.
