Aronia Berry Jam is made from our own berries from our orchard here in Searsboro, Iowa. Aronia berries have an earthy flavor and are very tart. The berries being tart makes this a delicious jam. The thickening agent for the jams is also from our orchard, as we use our own early, unripe apples. Aronia berries are said to have 10,000 times more antioxidants than a blueberry.

L'Orangerie goat milk soaps include milk from our herd of Nigerian Dwarf goats. Nigerian Dwarf goats produce high amounts of milk for their small stature, and their milk is higher in butterfat than most other dairy goat breeds. Our goat milk averages between 6-9% butterfat--we have it tested monthly. It makes lovely soap! L'Orangerie goat milk soap also includes saponified oils of coconut, sunflower, rice bran, and castor as well as shea butter. They're scented with orange and lemon balm essential oils for an herb garden meets orangery experience. The bars are swirled with turmeric, and they are topped with dried orange peel and calendula petals. Bars average 4.5 oz. each. Allergy Warning: People with sensitive skin or skin allergies should test the soap on a small part of skin and stop using if any irritation occurs.

Our turkeys are Black Spanish and Narragansett turkeys that we pasture raise in movable pens for predator protection on our farm. They spend the day foraging for plants and insects. When processed, you will have a turkey that is equal parts breast meat to dark meat. The birds have plenty of room to move around and develop wonderful muscling. We have a variety of weights that you may choose from, with the final cost determined by the final weight of the bird. We have them processed at a federally inspected plant and you will receive a frozen, heritage turkey for your enjoyment.

Beautiful mini dried lavender bunch that has been grown, hand-harvested, and dried on our farm. One bunch includes approximately 36 stems and will be about 5 inches in length. The length and shape of each bunch may vary. The variety of lavender is ‘Phenomenal’ which has many uses: keep as a bouquet, create your own potpourri or sachet, or use in crafts. It is also an edible lavender variety that could be used in salads, teas, or other recipes. For the best results, please store out of direct sunlight. All lavender has been harvested and carefully prepared by our son as a summer project. Proceeds will go to him. He has been careful to leave plenty of flowers for the bees and other pollinators to enjoy.

The lemon drop pepper is a chili pepper that is 2-12 x’s hotter than a jalapeño pepper. It is bright yellow with a sweet citrusy flavor. To enhance the “lemon” flavor of the pepper, I’ve added lemon rind and lemon juice to the jam. This is such a delicious jam!!!! Especially when you put cream cheese on a cracker and top it with this jam! It is similar to jalapeno pepper jelly but with a lemony flavor. Enjoy!!
