Roasts generally are 2 to 3 lbs, chops are 4 to 6 oz of meat per chop, ham steaks are under 1 lb usually. The meat is very lean and flavorful. Pork back ribs are delicious baked or grilled. Our pork was processed April 2023 at Story City Locker. All meat is wrapped in paper and poly plastic. Our pigs are born and raised on our farm. Each pig is raised outside all year with room to roam, soak in the mud or bury in the straw. In addition to locally grown grain, our pork is supplemented with lots of produce scraps and milk or whey from our family milk cow.
